Current projections for the amount of plastic waste in our oceans are pretty grim, with predictions that there will be more plastic than fish in our seas by 2050.

Thankfully, the Seabin Project is well on its way to making a positive change. Seabin's filter microplastic pollution from our waterways, preventing them from entering our oceans, and our bodies. To date, they have managed to remove over 3 million kilograms of marine litter from the ocean and captured approximately 58.4 million items of plastic. Using over one thousand strategically positioned Seabin’s, they are currently collecting 2,800kg of marine litter per day from around the globe.
